How many C4 does it take to destroy a FOB in WARDOGS?

Five C4 on the console (15,000 HP, 250 damage per charge) in the Season 1 tests; one IED did it in beta. Destroying it pays $5,000 and removes the zone, every stored supply and the mortar ammo. Hacking it instead (30 s of F) keeps everything.

The console is the toughest thing in a base by hit points but the softest by consequence: a destroyed FOB takes the build zone, all four supply stocks and the mortar ammunition with it. Five C4 is $1,250 of explosives plus the $550 detonator, against a $7,500 kit and whatever pallets were inside.

Target C4 (Season 1 tests) Alternative
FOB console 5 1 IED in beta (‡ may have changed), tank shells, artillery
Door 1 ‡ Halligan bar, no explosives needed
Gate 2 ramming does not open it
HESCO Large 4 ‡
HESCO Wall 8 ‡
Bremer Wall 7 ‡ takes about twice the tank-shell punishment of HESCO
Bunker, tower, shelter 14

C4 costs $250 per charge and needs Support level 2 plus the $550 remote detonator; the IED costs $300 with no unlock. Attackers rarely bring twenty charges, which is why the attack order is doors, gates, console, and why FOBplans blueprints box the console before building anything else: five charges have to be placed at the console, not at a wall 20 m away.

Half the numbers in the table carry a ‡. HESCO is quoted at 2/4 by the C4 tests and 5/10 by a planner database; the door at 1 or 3; Bremer at 7, 8 or 15. Our own C4 counts are on the in-game verification list and every blueprint’s “weaknesses” section updates with them.
