Quick answers

Short, direct answers to the most common building questions: what a FOB costs, how to unlock the Large hammer, how many pallets a build needs.

Can you build a FOB inside a building in WARDOGS?
No. The kit refuses to deploy inside buildings and main bases, and FOB-tier structures need the zone. What works: a FOB beside a building whose zone reaches inside, and the four no-FOB pieces (sandbags, wire, hedgehogs, recon tent) anywhere.
Does dismantling a structure refund supplies in WARDOGS?
No refund is documented. Holding V on a piece dismantles it step by step and costs hammer durability; the supplies spent on it are gone. One post-launch source says only the Large hammer can dismantle, an older one says any hammer. Plan before you place.
How far apart do FOBs have to be in WARDOGS?
About 120 m between consoles; the two build zones (≈ 60 m squares) must not overlap. Up to nine FOBs per team have been observed. A FOB cannot be moved once placed, so pick the spot before you deploy the kit.
How many C4 does it take to destroy a FOB in WARDOGS?
Five C4 on the console (15,000 HP, 250 damage per charge) in the Season 1 tests; one IED did it in beta. Destroying it pays $5,000 and removes the zone, every stored supply and the mortar ammo. Hacking it instead (30 s of F) keeps everything.
How many pallets does a WARDOGS base need?
One pallet holds 1,800 supplies and costs $400. Divide the estimated full-build cost (menu cost × 4/3) by 1,800, subtract the 1,250 the FOB kit already holds, and round up. A Ural carries two pallets per trip, a Lakota or Huey one.
How much does a FOB cost in WARDOGS?
The FOB kit costs $7,500 at the vendor since Season 1 (it was $2,500 in beta). It ships with a Small and a Medium hammer and 1,250 Build supplies, enough for a small walled base without a single pallet.
How do you build faster in WARDOGS?
Hit the yellow X: a marker hit is worth about 10% of the build, a body hit 1–2%. Stand at maximum hammer range so the marker stops moving, release the button on impact to skip the recovery animation, and put two or more hammers on each piece.
How do you hack an enemy FOB in WARDOGS?
Reach the enemy console and hold F for about 30 seconds. A loud alarm plays the whole time; if nobody stops you, the FOB, its zone, every structure and every stored supply switch to your team. It costs nothing, which is why the console gets boxed first.
How do you unlock the Large hammer in WARDOGS?
Reach Support level 8, pay the one-time $75,000 unlock in the Support track, then buy the hammer for $2,400 per life. Since Season 1 it needs level 8 instead of 7 and the unlock tripled from $25,000.
Why does the Talon SAM explode on my own wall in WARDOGS?
Talon missiles have a minimum arming distance. Any HESCO lip, parapet or block in front of the launcher inside that distance detonates the missile on your own structure. Cover goes beside and behind, never in front, or mount it on a Recon Tower deck.
What does the Drill Rig do in WARDOGS?
A running Drill Rig pulls the Hot Zone toward your FOB, so your players count double while it runs. 1,351 supplies, Large hammer, Control Zone only, at least 1,200 Fuel per activation, $2,500 payout each time, up to four per base.
What is the Hot Zone in WARDOGS?
A small circle that wanders inside the 2×2 km Control Zone. Players inside it count twice for zone control and earn double cash. It parks at a map drill tower for 180 s when a team enters the tower's code and follows a FOB Drill Rig while the rig runs.
