How do you hack an enemy FOB in WARDOGS?

Reach the enemy console and hold F for about 30 seconds. A loud alarm plays the whole time; if nobody stops you, the FOB, its zone, every structure and every stored supply switch to your team. It costs nothing, which is why the console gets boxed first.

The hack is the cheapest way to take a base and the most punishing way to lose one. There is no tool, no unlock and no cost: stand at the console, hold F, survive the alarm.

Step Detail
Get to the console Through a door (1 C4 or a Halligan bar), over a single-layer wall from a truck roof, or through an open door someone left.
Hold F About 30 seconds. The progress bar resets if you release.
Alarm Loud and audible across the base; every defender knows.
Result The FOB flips: zone, all structures, all supplies. Enemy doors and gates now open for you.

What the hack does not do: it does not pay the $5,000 destruction bounty, and it leaves the base intact, which is usually worth more. A captured base with two pallets of Build supplies and a Talon on a tower is a gift.

Stopping a hack

  • Console box first. Fifteen large blocks and a door around the console before the ring, then an airlock (second door). Two doors under an alarm is more than most raiders manage.
  • Never a straight line from any entrance to the console box door.
  • Someone inside. A base with nobody in it is hacked in 30 seconds by one player; the alarm only helps if there is a defender to hear it.
  • Doors close automatically after about a minute, but a raider who follows you in does not need to open one. Use the airlock: one door open at a time.

Every FOBplans base starts with the console box module for this reason; the Solo Pocket FOB shows the cheapest version, a wall screen and an offset door.
