Manually operated anti-air close-in weapon system. 20 mm rounds ignore flares and hurt ground targets too; about 1 km range, very limited depression. Extremely long build that only progresses on yellow-X hits: bring two builders. Put it on a fully built 4×4 HESCO platform with a closed operator box and check the arcs from the seat.
Open the radial (right mouse + F), page with F until you find the Vanguard CIWS, place it with a green hologram and hammer the yellow X markers. Manually operated anti-air close-in weapon system. 20 mm rounds ignore flares and hurt ground targets too; about 1 km range, very limited depression.
Box the emplacement with large blocks and a door, but never put a block across the muzzle: missiles have a minimum arming distance and the CIWS cannot depress through a wall. Cover goes beside and below, not in front.
