Build phases
The starting Ammo stock is 100, which is three shells. One Ammo pallet is sixty. A firing mortar is a beacon for counter-mortars and FPV drones, so the pit stays low, the spotter stays 30 m away and you relocate after two fire missions.
Console box
Deploy the FOB, take the Medium hammer from the console and box the console with large blocks before anything else. The 30-second console hack is the fastest way to lose the whole base.
Mortar
Large hammer: the L81 on flat ground nine cells west of the console with its barrel arc toward the target sector. Nothing taller than one block goes inside that arc.
Low ring
Fourteen small blocks around the pit with a two-cell gap toward the console for the ammo runner.
Screen, spotter and ammo run
Two walls west of the pit outside the arc, then the recon tent with two sandbags and a wire south of it: the spotter hides from thermals while the mortar works. Meanwhile the Driver brings an Ammo pallet before the first fire mission; sixty shells, and pressing C between shots fires three quickly.
Weaknesses and counters
- Counter-mortar and FPV drones
- Keep the ring low, fire in short missions, relocate after two.
- Infantry rush on the pit
- The screen blocks the approach sightline; the spotter calls it early.
